Senior Kari Steuer stood out in her final PSAC championship meet, taking sixth place in the Shot Put with an exemplary performance. Steuer put the shot 12.84m on her very first attempted of the day, which was the third-best first shot of the day and was good enough for sixth overall.

Ashley McCluskey came within a hair’s breadth of scoring in the field as well, coming in ninth place in the Javelin. The freshman put forth a solid foundation to being an all-conference performer in the future, throwing the implement 38.24m. That was just 0.20m short of Gabrielle D’Amore’s eighth-place mark of 38.44m.

Wrapping up competition on Saturday was the 4×400 Relay Team of Nicole Young, Amanda Batey, Courtney Young and Letizia Collini. They finished 11th with a time of 4:02.49.
