Clifford W. Brothers, 69, Punxsutawney, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
He was born July 23, 1945, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Minnie Emable (Hughes) and Bernard Brothers.
On August 10, 2002, he married Charlotte Ruth (Bell) Andrews-Brothers, who survives.
Mr. Brothers attended the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
He served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
In addition to his wife, surviving relatives include a step-son David James Andrews and wife Deanna of Punxsutawney; two sisters, Betsy Gaston and husband Laird of Covode, and Marie Powell and husband Dave of Oliveburg; a half sister-in-law Grace Brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half brother
Bernard L. Brothers.
Services for Mr. Brothers are private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions, in memory of Mr. Brothers, may be made to the Hahne Regional Cancer Center, McCalmont Township Volunteer Fire Company, or to the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
