Colby Dean Richard Smith

Colby Dean Richard Smith, age 30, Ventura Way, Tampa, FL, formerly of Brockway, PA died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Born July 19, 1985 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of Gene D. & Diane L. (Rudzinski) Smith. They both survive and live in Brockway, PA.

Colby was a 2003 graduate of Brockway Area High School.

He worked for E2 Walls in Tampa, FL. He enjoyed cooking and loved his Ford Raptor truck. Most of all, he loved his family.

Colby is also survived by three sisters, Holly Wilcox and her husband, Jonny of Brockport, PA, Heidy Freund and her husband, Derek of Glenshaw, PA, and Haley Smith of Falls Creek, PA, his nieces and nephews (Bentley, Rhyus, Hila, and Teague Wilcox; Lake Freund; and Cooper Smith), his paternal grandparents, Richard and Virginia Smith of Falls Creek, PA, five uncles (Dean Smith and his wife, Wanda and their children, Kelly and Desiree; Greg Smith; Michael Smith; Joe Rudzinski and his wife, Carolyn; and Michael “Polka Mike” Rudzinski), and his aunt, Lisa Lanager and her husband, Chris and their children, McKenna and Landyn.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Helen Rudzinski and an uncle, Richard Smith.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.

A Scriptural Wake Service will be held on Thursday evening at 7:45 P.M. from the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10 A.M. from St. Tobias Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Charles Kaza as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Tobias Cemetery.
