BELL TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A woman is facing assault and harassment charges following a domestic incident that occurred in Bell Township on Sunday.

Court documents indicate the Punxsutawney-based State Police filed criminal charges against 30-year-old Destiny Dawn Gasbarre, of DuBois.

According to a criminal complaint, around 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, Trooper Mosier of the Punxsutawney-based State Police was dispatched to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Pine Tree Road in Bell Township.

Trooper Mosier then spoke to the known victim who related that Destiny Gasbarre became loud and caused a commotion at the victim’s residence.

The victim stated that she went to the basement of the residence and threw Gasbarre’s purse out of the door, told Gasbarre to leave, and stated she was calling the police.

Trooper Mosier also spoke to Gasbarre. According to the complaint, Gasbarre stated that she and the victim have had a “strained relationship” lately, and said an argument began after the victim entered the basement and asked her to leave. Gasbarre reported that the victim grabbed her around her neck and pushed her backward onto a couch, and denied striking the victim or causing any injuries.

The complaint notes that Gasbarre had only a faint scratch on her neck near her collarbone area. No charges have been filed against the victim.

Based on the investigation, Gasbarre was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline J. Mizerock at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 11, on the following charges:
