Connie M. Bellerillo, 84, Punxsutawney, died Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
She was born January 1, 1931, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Rend) Micale.
On June 19, 1965, she married Carl R. Bellerillo, who preceded her in death on October 17, 2007.
She was a member of Saints Cosmas and Damian Roman Catholic Church of Punxsutawney.
She was on the school board for sixteen years, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America for nineteen years, a Girl Scouts Leader for thirty one years, and gave many donations to various charities over her lifetime.
Connie enjoyed writing poetry and spending time with her family.
Surviving relatives include three children, Jeffrey Bellerillo and wife Cassandra of Punxsutawney, Nancy Lantz of Punxsutawney, and Natalie Bellerillo of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; four grandchildren, Emily and Rachel Lantz and Joshua and Jacob Bellerillo; a brother Pete Micale and wife Kathy of St. Marys; a nephew Michael Micale and wife Lynn of St. Marys; and several close nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Louis Micale and an Aunt Grace Rend.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at SSCD Church with Monsignor Joseph Riccardo officiating.
Interment will be in Adrian-Anita Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Mrs. Bellerillo, to the charity of the donors’ choice.
