Convenience Store Theft in Brookville Leads to Outstanding Warrants Arrest

handcuff-300x225BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police say a retail theft occurred on April 1 at the Sheetz convenience store in Brookville, Jefferson County.

According to police, a known male returned to Sheetz and attempted to exchange merchandise for cash that he allegedly stole three hours prior.

Through the course of the investigation, police determined the perpetrator had outstanding warrants out of York County and also registered on Megan’s Law website.

The perpetrator was arrested and placed in the Jefferson County jail.

The name of the perpetrator was not released.

No other information was provided.
