Cook Forest State Park Hosts ‘Otter Watch’ on Saturday

safe_imageCOOKSBURG, Pa. (EYT) – Cook Forest State Park will host an “Otter Watch” on Saturday, February 14.

The event will be from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Those who are interested in attending are invited to bring binoculars and spotting scopes to the Park Office for a driving tour to otter hotspots along the Clarion River.

Winter is the prime time of year to witness otter activity and signs such as slides, tracks, and carp kills along the banks of the river.

Hot chocolate will be available.

The Cook Forest State Park is located at 113 River Road, Cooksburg, Pa.
