Cook Forest Vacation Bureau Develops Fundraiser for River Road Pavilion

COOKSBURG, Pa. (EYT) – The Cook Forest Vacation Bureau is raising money for a pavilion to be added to the River Road in Cook Forest.

The Cook Forest State Park will be matching the funds raised.

The vacation bureau plans to donate $15,000.00 for this project.

The new pavilion will be located near the playground and bathhouse on River Road, providing shelter near the upgraded ice skating pond and sledding hill.

It will have winter access, providing a year round gathering place.

The Cook Forest Vacation Bureau states, “This can be used for the many events held in the park, the MS Bike ride, the Clarion River half marathon, the Snowman in the Forest, etc.”

“This will be a fantastic asset to an already wonderful state park.”

The project will be completed in the Fall of 2016.
