About the River Road Pavilion Project

The Cook Forest Vacation Bureau is raising money for a pavilion to be added to the River Road in Cook Forest. The Cook Forest State Park will be matching the funds that are raised.

The new pavilion will be located near the playground and bathhouse on River Road, providing shelter near the upgraded ice skating pond and sledding hill.

It can be used for the many events held in the park, such as the MS Bike ride, the Clarion River half marathon, the Snowman in the Forest, and similar events.

This shelter will have winter access, providing a year round gathering place for friends and family.

The project will be completed in the Fall of 2016.
