Corrections to News Release: Teen Accused of Sexual Assault in Brookville

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Brookville Police Department made corrections to the news release released earlier this week on a Reynoldsville man who was charged with the sexual assault of a minor in Union Township, Brookville Borough, Jefferson County.

According to police, 18-year-old Tanner Knepshield of Reynoldsville allegedly had sexual intercourse with a known minor on 4 occasions and is charged with 12 counts. Not 12 occasions as previous released.

Brookville Police Department says that they regret the error and apologizes to all persons involved.

(As previously reported in a new release on February 27, Knepshield was arraigned at Magistrate Bazylak’s office and placed in the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $80,000.00 straight bail.)
