Corsica Man Allegedly Grabs Victim by Neck, Punches Him in Back

UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say on May 27, an assault occurred on Route 949, in Union Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, a 66-year-old man, of Fenelton, arrived at his rental property on Route 949 and observed the suspect – a 42-year-old Corsica man – inside his truck with a tow strap attached to the electric box on the outside of a detached garage. The suspect was pulling on it with his truck.

Police say an argument began, and the suspect allegedly grabbed the victim by the neck and then punched him in the back.

The suspect is also alleged to have damaged a wood entry to the garage earlier in the day, according to police.

The estimated damage is $725.00.

Charges are pending for Harassment and Criminal Mischief.
