Corsica Man Suffers Major Injuries in Motorcycle Crash

A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.RICHLAND TWP., (EYT) – A motorcyclist suffered major injuries in an accident that occurred on State Route 338, just south of Turkey Hill Road (Township 382), in Richland Township, Clarion County.

According to Clarion-based State Police, this crash occurred around 5:42 p.m. on October 21, as 50-year-old Daniel E. Uber, of Corsica, was traveling east on State Route 338 on a 1997 Honda Gold Wing motorcycle and began to negotiate a left bend.

Police say after coming through the bend, the motorcycle traveled straight into the guide rail. It then continued east along the guide rail at which time Uber laid down the motorcycle.

It then continued east flipping over and coming to a final rest along the eastbound berm, according to police.

Police say Uber suffered major injuries; he was transported to UPMC Pittsburgh.

St. Petersburg and Knox Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
