UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Two people were taken into custody following a domestic dispute at a location on Smail Road, in Corsica, Union Township, Jefferson County.
Punxsutawney-based State Police say sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on June 4, 54-year-old Amos L. Smail and 55-year-old Heidi M. Smail, both of Corsica, engaged in a verbal argument inside a residence on Smail Road.
Police say the argument turned physical, and according to Amos Smail, he was allegedly assaulted by Heidi Smail with a kitchen knife.
Both individuals were taken into custody for domestic violence.
The investigation continues.
