Crews from Three Counties Battle Jefferson County House Fire

BROCKWAY, Pa. (EYT) – Fire crews from three counties responded to a house fire in the Brockway area early Tuesday morning.

Officials say the fire broke out around 2 a.m. at a residence along Route 28 just outside of Brockway.

“After confirming all residents were out of the structure, engine crews made an aggressive interior attack limiting fire damage in the residence,” said a representative with Brockway Volunteer Hose Company.

The scene was cleared around 5 a.m.

Initial reports indicate that the house is a complete loss.

There is no official word on the cause of the fire.

No injuries were reported.

Friendship Fire Company, Sandy Township Fire Co #1, Oklahoma Fire Company, Warsaw Township Volunteer Fire Company, Falls Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Pine Creek Township Fire Company, and Horton Township Fire Department also responded to the scene.
