Curve Announce Makeup Dates for Special Nights Postponed by Rain May 7

CURVE, Pa. – The Altoona Curve announced today make-up dates for the Bishop Guilfoyle High School Marauder Bobblehead Giveaway, Fireworks show and Kids’ Club Game that were postponed because of rain on Friday, May 7 at Peoples Natural Gas Field.

The Bishop Guilfoyle Marauder Bobblehead, presented by Burgmeier’s Hauling, will now take place on Tuesday, May 24, as the Curve face the Akron RubberDucks. The game will begin at 6 p.m. and the gates will open at 5. The bobblehead will be given to the first 1,500 fans. The night will also be Irish Heritage Night, as well as a Two-for-Tuesday, presented by Atlantic Broadband, with 2-for-1 specials on tickets, hot dogs and small popcorns.

The Ritchey’s Dairy Kids’ Club Game will be made up on Sunday, June 5 as the Curve face the Binghamton Mets at 6 p.m. Members of the Ritchey’s Dairy Kids Club can get into the game for free with their membership cards. The night will also feature a spectacular Fireworks show.

Last Friday’s postponed Fireworks show, presented by US Foods, will now take place on Wednesday, June 29, as the Curve face the B-Mets at 7 p.m. The Curve will also celebrate Halloween/Ghostbusters Night during the game. It will be a 4-Pack Wednesday, and fans can get four tickets, four hot dogs and four regular sodas all for one low price, starting at $45.

The packed promotional evening on June 29 will also include the Curve’s Wing Wednesday special, featuring 50-cent wings (min. order of 6), and it will be a Loyal Gaming Rewards Student Rush Wednesday, with $2 Bleacher seats for anyone that shows a student ID. The game will be a Ritchey’s Dairy Kids’ Club game, and all Kids’ Club members get in free with their membership cards. Fans can also present their M&T Bank Cards to receive $2 off tickets to all Wednesday home games this season.

The postponed game from Friday against Richmond was made up as part of a double-header at PNG Field on Saturday, May 8.

Fans who had tickets to the postponed game on Friday, May 7 can exchange their ticket for any 2016 home game at PNG Field (of equal or lesser value, based on availability).

After a seven-game road trip, the Curve return to PNG Field on Friday, May 20 to face the Portland Sea Dogs at 6 p.m. for Out of this World Night. The first 1,500 fans will receive an Andrew McCutchen Astronaut Bobblebody, presented by asurion. The Altoona Area School District Neil Armstrong Planetarium will also be on hand with artifacts, games and photo opportunities.
