D. Jane Shick, 88, of Indiana, PA, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Mulberry Square.
On September 17, 1946, she married Edward E. Shick, who preceded her in death on October 19, 1990.
She worked as a cafeteria worker for Marion Center School District.
Jane enjoyed quilting, baking, cooking, gardening, crafting, playing cards, and square dancing.
She is survived by two children, daughter Beverly Bigley and husband Rick of Bethany Beach, DE, and son Jerry Shick and wife Nancy of Downingtown, PA; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Lippincott, Allison Bayless, Bill Shick, Shannon Thornton, Kate Stone, Deana Vasbinder, and Emily Bolles; four great grandchildren, Jayden and Paige Vasbinder, and Dylan and Avery Bolles; and siblings, a brother Ron Neiswonger and wife Linda of Fairmount City, and sisters Dorothy Hilliard of Fairmount City, Sara Gourley of New Bethlehem, and Helen Brocious of Mercer.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter Janis L. Mumau, and sisters Florence Young and Bernice Heffelfinger.
Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2018, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2018, at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Brady officiating.
Interment will be in Marion Center Memorial Cemetery, Marion Center.
