A look at Tuesday’s high school basketball action, brought to you by D9Sports.com.

DUBOIS 54, BROCKWAY 52, OVERTIME

DUBOIS, Pa. – Zach Sloan’s coast-to-coast dash after a Dante Dawson steal lifted DuBois to a 54-52 overtime win over Brockway in the championship game of the DuBois Holiday Tournament Tuesday night at DuBois High School.

With the game tied at 52, Brockway was inbounding the ball under its basket with 6.9 seconds left when Dawson deflected the inbounds pass and Sloan scooped the ball up and went the length of the floor for the game-winning bucket with just under a second to play.

It was fitting that Sloan scored the game winner, as the senior had a fantastic night with 23 points including four of the Beavers six overtime points.

The game was tied at 48 at the end of regulation thanks in large part to the play of Brockway’s Carter Adams who scored eight of his team-high 17 points in the fourth quarter while hitting a pair of fourth-quarter 3-pointers.

Nick LaBrasca added 10 points for DuBois, while Jake Wineberg had 13 and Corey Carr 11, including three of the Rovers four overtime points, for Brockway.
