Redbank Valley Beats Union
RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Redbank Valley used an 18-point third-quarter advantage to erase a 2-point halftime deficit and get a 58-43 win over upstart Union in KSAC South girls’ basketball action Friday night at Union.
The Lady Bulldogs trailed the Golden Damsels 21-19 at halftime despite starting the game on an 8-0 run. But Redbank Valley outscored Union 24-6 in the third quarter to take control of the game.
Brooke Hinderliter led the Lady Bulldogs with 20 points while adding 12 rebounds, six blocked shots and five steals.
Kaelyn Gruver added 10 points and nine rebounds for Redbank, while Becca Dougherty had 12 points and seven boards and Cassie Fink 10 points and 11 rebounds.
