BROCKWAY, Pa. – Behind 29 points from Ciara Strickland, Curwensville picked up its second straight win while breaking Brockway’s three-game win streak with a 47-40 win at Brockway Friday.
Strickland, who has scored 79 points in her last three games, hit 10 shots including five 3-pointers and was a perfect 4 of 4 from the free-throw line.
Brockway (7-8, 3-4 AML South) led 25-23 at halftime before the Lady Tide (9-4, 3-3) outscored the Lady Rovers 11-6 in the third quarter to take a 34-31 lead.
Juli Esposito paced Brockway with 15 points.
