Daniel A. Marchioni Sr., 95 of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
Born Wednesday, July 5, 1922 in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Amadeo Marchioni and the late Mary (Ciamacco) Marchioni. He was the husband of the late Margaret E. (Adamson) Marchioni.
He served in the US Aircore in World War II. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a life member of the Son’s of Italy, and was in a band called Country Pride.
He is survived by his sons, Antony P. Marchioni (Denise) of Falls Creek, PA and Michael J. Marchioni (Carrie) of Brookville, PA, daughter, Annette M. Crooks (Gary) of Reynoldsville, PA, sisters, Artista Dobis of DuBois, PA and Amadeus Finley (Glenn) of Du Bois, PA; 5 grand children Emily Ford(Shane), Alyssa, Olivia, Amanda and Natalie Marchioni.
In addition to his parents and wife he was predeceased by son, Daniel A. Marchioni Jr. two grand children Todd M. Crooks and Tracy E. Crooks and 5 brothers and 1 sister
A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday December 23, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 607 East Main Street Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania 15851 with the Fr. William Barron officiating. Military honors will be preformed by the DuBois Area Honor Guard following the service Interment will be in St Mary’s Cemetery, Reynoldsville, PA.
