Daniel Overbeck, age 64, Laurel Lane, Reynoldsville, PA died Monday, July 11, 2016 at his home.
Born March 28, 1952 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Gerald and Blanche S. (Williams) Overbeck.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War.
Daniel was a contractor by trade. He was a member of the Independent, Political and Social Club.
Daniel is survived by three children: Luella Overbeck of Reynoldsville, PA; Blanch Patterson of Sykesville, PA; and Gerald Overbeck of Reynoldsville, PA. He is also survived by a sister, Darlene Wiley of Columbia City, IN; a brother, Gordon Overbeck of DuBois, PA; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel L. Overbeck.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 1 P.M. from the Reynoldsville Free Methodist Church, located at 30 West Main Street in Reynoldsville, with Pastor Jack Hartman officiating.
Military honors will be accorded by the members of the James J. Patterson Post 813 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
