Darlene L. Chadwick, 67, of Punxsutawney, formerly of Beaufort, North Carolina, died Saturday, May 2, 2015, in Punxsutawney.
She was born on Sept. 3, 1947, in Tampa, Florida, a daughter of the late Constance (Sellers) and Lafayette Chadwick.
She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard.
She was a member of the Straits United Methodist Church.
Darlene worked for Virginia Power and was then self-employed as a search engine professor.
She enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with her family.
Surviving relatives include her cousins, Sandy Leister of Arizona, Tammy Herman of Florida, June McAfee of Punxsutawney, Jean Hawk of New Kensington, Pa., Evelyn Sprankle of Niagara Falls, Henry Hawk of Colorado and Marge Simon of Punxsutawney.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Straits United Methodist Cemetery in Carteret County, North Carolina.
