Darwin Charles Wiles

Darwin Charles Wiles, 90, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021, while at his home.

He was born on September 8, 1931, to the late Charles Henry and Larue (Estes) Wiles in Reynoldsville, PA.

Darwin married B. Lorraine Shaffer on June 5, 1954; Lorraine survives him.

He worked at Rockwell Manufacturing for over forty years.

Darwin enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid gardener.

He enjoyed motorcycles, snow mobiles, and playing shuffleboard. He was also known as Mr. Fix-It.

In addition to his wife, Darwin is survived by three children; Darlene D. (Craig) LaBorde; Carrie A. (Chris) Macri; Cyndi L. (Joe) Smylie; seven grandchildren; Tawnya Pugsley; Nicole Lawrence; Eric LaBorde; Angela Macri; Kayla Macri; Christpher Macri Jr.; Jacob Macri; and five great grandchildren; Kaylee Pugsley; Corbin Pugsley; Katharine Lawrence; Connor Lawrence; Kinsley Rosa.

Darwin is also survived by two siblings; Charlotte Thrush and Doretha Murray.

In addition to his parents, Darwin was preceded in passing by two sisters: Patricia Matt and Corrine Hannah.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 10 to 11am at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851.

A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation, beginning at 11am.

Final interment will take place at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Winslow Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.
