David Blaine Anthony, Jr., 41, of Mayport, died Saturday evening, May 11, 2019, as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Route 28. Born on June 4, 1977, in Brookville, he was the son of David Blaine Anthony, Sr. and Brenda R. (Bailey) Troup.
He was a welder for Miller Welding in Brookville.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Brenda Troup of Mayport, a brother, Christopher Troup of Hawthorn, a nephew, Jace Lee Troup, and an uncle, Don Bailey, of Brookville.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Delmar and Sylvia Bailey, paternal grandparents, Tom and Leona Troup, and an uncle, Greg Bailey.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be held in the Jerusalem Cemetery.
The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is handling the arrangements.
