David J. Cavalier, age 69 of DuBois, PA died Monday, November 1, 2021 at Christ the King Manor.
Born on August 13, 1952 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Lucian and Elizabeth “Betty” (Fitzpatrick) Cavalier.
David was a 1970 graduate of the DuBois Area High School.
He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.
He loved the Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins and Steelers, loved going to church and walking around DuBois.
David loved a can of Coke, a candy bar and Dairy Queen.
He loved oldies music and was kind to everyone he met.
David is survived by his siblings; (Mary Segerberg and her husband Mark, Luanne Varacallo and Paul Cavalier and his wife Charlotte all of DuBois, PA), 8 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister (Betty Lou Cavalier), infant brother (Gary) and brother-in-law Albert Varacallo, Jr.).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 4 PM – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 10 AM from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will take place in St. Catherine Cemetery.
