David Leonard Bothell

48d96dae5764a344[1]David Leonard Bothell, 65, of Sigel passed away Friday March 13, 2015 at Fair Winds Manor in Sarver.

He was born May 24, 1949 in Penn Hills, Pa. the son of the late Leonard W. and Lois May Kerschner Bothell.

David was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Brookville Congregation, a life member of the VFW in Sagamore, and the Sportsburg Lodge in Wharton, Pa.

He loved to hunt and enjoyed teaching his grandchildren all about the art of fishing.

He will always be remembered as a loving man who was happiest spending time with his family.

David was self-employed as a plasterer, and was a United States Navy Veteran having served during Viet Nam.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Evelyn H. Heberling Bothell, six children; Danny Bothell and his wife Sandy of Bloomsburg, Pa. Evie Bonnoni and her husband Wege of Avonmore, Ryan Bothell and his wife Angela of Linden, Michigan, Jay Bothell and his wife Juanita of Cameron, North Carolina, Jamie Bothell and his wife Jeanie of Linden, Michigan, and Ben Bothell and his wife Lindsay of Kittanning, twenty seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a sister, Darlene Gray and her husband Dick of Murrysville, and two brothers; Bob Patton and his wife Diane of Summerville, and Eric Patton and his wife Joey of Sigel.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a dear daughter in law Tina, and a sweet granddaughter Clara.

Services for David will be held on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 405 E. Pike Road, Indiana, Pa. 15701.

Brother Chuck McNavish will officiate.
