Dolores J. “Doe” Hollobaugh, 92, of Brookville, formerly of Hawthorn, died Monday morning, April 18, 2016 at Jefferson Court in Brookville.
Born May 11, 1923 in Jeanette, she was the daughter of Michael Patrick and Lavina Ruth (Smail) Carr. She was married on September 7, 1940 to Jesse Charles Hollobaugh, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 1997.
Dolores worked for Hawthorn Manufacturing and was a care giver at Jefferson Manor. She was a member of the Hawthorn Presbyterian Church and the Hawthorn Area Fire Department Ladies Auxilliary.
She is survived by two sons, Timothy A. Hollobaugh and his wife Carol of Brookville and Charles W. Hollobaugh and his wife Melanie of Hawthorn, ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael C. Hollobaugh, a grandson, Brady Wotring, two brothers, James A. Carr and Michael P. Carr, and three sisters, Mary K. Zigon, Patricia R. Orr and Charlotte E. Radaker.
A memorial service will be held at the Hawthorn Presbyterian Church at a later date.
The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is handling the arrangements.
