Dennis D. Marshall, 68, formerly of Franklin passed away at 6:10 P.M. on Sunday May 18, 2014 at Lowrie Place in Butler.
Born March 26, 1946 in Punxatawney he is the son of Mary E. Deitman Marshall and the late Carl E. Marshall.
He was a 1965 graduate of Franklin High School.
Dennis worked for 34 years at Polk Center as a custodian retiring in 1998.
He loved trains and anything that had to do with railroad activities. He particularly enjoyed visiting the Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers; Gary Marshall and his wife Leslie of Oil City and Kenneth Mark Marshall and his wife Beth of Homer City; and numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Marshall.
Family and friends welcome Thursday from 4:00- 6:00 P.M. at Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Randy Kightlinger, Chaplain for VNA Hospice and Sugar Creek Station, officiating.
Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery, Frostburg, Jefferson County.
