KNOX TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police have released details on a crash that shut down Knox Dale Road for over an hour on Saturday afternoon.
State Police say a 17-year-old Brookville girl was traveling too fast for conditions on Knox Dale Road around 1:22 p.m. and subsequently struck the trailer of a vehicle operated by Samuel Strano, 43, of Knox Dale.
The teen driver lost control of her 2003 Mazda 6 and crashed into an embankment.
She was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
No injuries were reported.
Knox Township Volunteer Fire Department, McPherson Towing, Bailey’s Towing assisted at the scene.
