Details Released on Man Accused of DUI of Meth Following Crash in Bell Township

BELL TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Knox Dale man is facing charges of driving under the influence of methamphetamine following a one-vehicle crash on Knox Dale Road, in Bell Township, Jefferson County.

Around 2:52 a.m. on April 15, PSP Punxsutawney responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash along Knox Dale Road.

The driver – 29-year-old Benjamin Ross Lane, of Knox Dale – was not injured.

He was allegedly found to be under the influence of illegal drugs and taken to the hospital for a blood draw.

Lab testing confirmed the presence of methamphetamine, according to police.

Lane is also a DUI-suspended driver.

Lane was charged at District Court 54-3-03.
