Diane C. Kuntz, Age 54 of Sykes Street Extension, DuBois, PA died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born on April 12, 1960in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of Vernon & Kathleen (Crowley) Dunworth. Her parents survive and live in DuBois.
On September 16, 1977, she married Bruce D. Kuntz. He survives
Diana was currently a contract liaison officer for PECAR (Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape). Previous to that, she was the director of Passages, working there for over 15 years. She dedicated her life to her work, taking care of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
She was a board member of the United Fund in Brookville, and most importantly, her family was the lover of her life, especially her granddaughter, Madison.
Survived by 2 children (Shannon Lathrop & Derek Kuntz, both of DuBois, PA) a granddaughter (Madison Lathrop) and 3 brothers (David Dunworth of DuBois, PA, and Dennis Dunworth, & Dean Dunworth & his wife Cynthia, both of Grampian, PA).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 2-4 &6-8 p.m.at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Mark Montgomery & Pastor Sherman Bailey officiating.
Burial will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
Diane would have wanted memorials contributions to go to her granddaughter’s (Madison Lathrop) college education fund that has been established at the First Commonwealth Bank, 5 North Main St., DuBois, PA 15801
