Disciplinary Action Taken Against Two Jefferson County Nurses

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Department of State took disciplinary actions against 114 licensed or commissioned professionals and organizations during the month of March, Secretary of the Commonwealth Carol Aichele announced.

Locally, action was taken against two Registered Nurses in Jefferson County.

Jefferson County

Adam N. Jones, license no. RN521672L, of DuBois, Clearfield County, and Reynoldsville, Jefferson County, was issued a public reprimand against his license based on findings he pled guilty to a crime of moral turpitude.

Hope A. Murphy, license no. RN317259L, of Toronto, Jefferson County, was automatically suspended, based upon her having been convicted of a felony under the Drug Act.
