The She-Wolves were the lone D9 girls’ team to come out on the winning side in PIAA second-round action, as Otto-Eldred dropped a 72-38 decision to Kennedy Catholic in Class 1A, Karns City fell 46-38 to Neshannock in Class 3A and Punxsutawney lost 59-29 to Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic in Class 4A.

Abby Gatesman chipped in 11 points for the She-Wolves, who will face Bishop Carroll in the quarterfinals Saturday.
Gillian Fisher proved to be too much for Otto-Eldred to handle, as the Lady Terrors fell to Fisher, who scored 24 points, and the Golden Eagles. Kennedy Catholic takes on Juniata Valley in the second round.
