PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (D9sports) – District 9 released the 2016 District 9 softball playoff brackets Thursday afternoon.
The Class A Tournament features an eight-team bracket with unbeaten DuBois Central Catholic as the top seed.
In Class AA, one-loss Moniteau heads the class of five teams, and in Class AAA 12-5 Punxsutawney tops the three teams in the bracket.
Playoff action gets underway Monday in Class A and Class AA and Wednesday in Class AAA.
