Born on August 3, 1936, in DuBois, PA, Dolly was the daughter of Eleanor Reed Fairman and William Fairman, Jr.

She attended Brady High School and graduated from DuBois High School in 1954.

Dolly was employed by the Worker’s Loan Office, Riverside Markets and B.F. Goodrich Corporation before taking a position with DuBois Area School District where she worked as a secretary for 25 years, mostly at Juniata Elementary.

Dolly married Alvin Gearhart on October 27, 1957, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He survives. They resided in Pittsburgh for 3 years before returning to DuBois and Treasure Lake where they spent many happy years.

Dolly was a member of First Baptist Church in DuBois and the Treasure Lake Church. She was an excellent homemaker, cook and a beautiful woman inside and out. She went above and beyond to care for all of her family. She was a wonderful wife and absolutely fantastic, loving, and selfless mother.
