Donald E NealDonald E. Neal, 70, Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.

He was born October 28, 1946, in Rossiter, a son of the late Dorothy (Fetterman) and Boyd D. Neal.

On June 4, 1966, he married Judy A. (Mitchell) Neal, who survives.

He was a member of the First Church of God of Burnside and enjoyed hunting, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins, and coloring. Don was very old fashioned and very family oriented. He took pride in his animals, his dog Reese and his donkey Spirit.

Don had worked form FEMCO as a Supervisor on the Cleanup Crew for fifteen plus years and then was the co-owner of K and D Personal Care Home for eight years.

In addition to his wife Judy, surviving relatives include three daughters, Donna Primm and husband Michael of Punxsutawney, Rhonda Neal and fiancé Randy Weaver of Rossiter, and Kelly Blazavich and husband Clint of Marion Center; nine grandchildren, Courtney Shields and husband Adam, Bali Primm, Douglas Painter, Jr., Kaila Painter and fiancé Dustin Fetterman, Kelsey Painter, RaeAnne Bennett and husband Dustin, Colton Barrett, and Abby and Ben Blazavich; five great grandchildren, Theron Shields, Sofiya Roy, Jace Wasicki, Madyson Fetterman, and Payton Fetterman; and four siblings, brother Harry Neal and wife Lana of DuBois, sister Wanda Adams and husband Archie of Ringgold, brother David Neal and wife Sherry of Ringgold, and brother Larry Neal and wife LuAnn of Marchand.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Raymond “Butch” Neal; two sisters, Marlene Pounds and Dorothy Neal; and an infant baby brother.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2017, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, February 24, 2017, at the funeral home with Reverend William Foster officiating.

Interment will be in Pearce Cemetery, Rossiter.
