Donna C. Marshall, age 80, Knarr Street, DuBois, PA went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
Born January 16, 1935 in Grampian, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold “Tip” and Arlene (Wrigglesworth) Chelgren.
On July 29, 1956, she married Bill B. Marshall. He survives.
She worked for Hughes-Starr Motors in DuBois for over 20 years and previous to that, she had worked for Bell Telephone.
Donna was a member of First United Methodist Church where she sang in the Church Chancel Choir. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed her monthly card club and golfing. She loved her cat, Dora and working with her flowers. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Tammy Harris and her husband, Joel of Falls Creek, PA, Brenda Marshall of State College, PA and Valerie Marshall of Brockway, PA, three sisters, Norma Alexiff of Raleigh, NC, Carole Dotts and Janet Kupko, both of DuBois, PA, a brother, Harold “Whitey” Chelgren and his wife, Phyllis of Phoenix, AZ, nine grandchildren and six great granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jill Spinda.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11 A.M. from the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Lance Tucker officiating.
Burial will be in St. Luke’s United Church of Christ Cemetery.
