Dorothy J. Marshall

Dorothy J. Marshall, 63 of Punxsutawney, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Dorothy was born November 6, 1951 in Indiana, a daughter of the late Lonnie and Kathryn (Westover) Bartlebaugh.

She is survived by her husband Russell Marshall of Punxsutawney.

She was a member of the Allegheny Wesleyn Methodist Church. Dorothy was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved baking and cooking and just being with her family and friends and her two birds.

In addition to her husband Russell, she is survived by three children; Crystal Rodabaugh, Elda Hill and husband Bob all of Punxsutawney, William Umbaugh of DuBois, two brothers; Olin Bartlebaugh and wife Faye of Punxsutawney, Lonnie “Dick” Bartlebaugh and wife Sharon of Wilgus, two sisters; Daisy Bartlebaugh and Martha Bartlabaugh both of Punxsutawney, her beloved grandchildren; Loni Rodabaugh anf fiance Alex Lester, Opal Hazlett and husband Leroy Hazlett, Hope Heckman and fiance Joel Fox, Douglas Bartlebaugh, Ashlynn Bartlebaugh, Caitlin Hill, Lisa Styslinger and her great-granddaughter; Kalista Lester. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, a sister in law; Rita Bartlebaugh and her dearest friends Jane Ann Spencer, Patty Vaughn and Cookie Michaels.

She is preceded in death by four brothers; Walter, Melvin, Lowell Bartlebaugh and an infant brother, and three sisters; Patricia Troutman, Elda Beatty and Linda West.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday, October 1 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. A funeral service will held at 10 am Friday, October 2 at the funeral home with Pastor Matthew Peachey officiating. Interment is private.
