Dorothy R. Vendetta, 89, Rossiter, died Friday, July 17, 2015, at her home.
She was born September 16, 1925, in Rossiter, a daughter of the late Charolette R. (Tucker) and Carl F. Stamler.
She was married to George J. Vendetta, who preceded her in death in 1972.
She attended the Smyerstown Church.
Dorothy enjoyed flower gardening, working in the yard, crossword puzzles, and word searches.
Surviving relatives include a son Carl Vendetta and wife Lee of Rossiter; two grandchildren, Kevin Vendetta of Pottstown, PA, and Chris Vendetta of Ocean View, DE; a great granddaughter Natalia Vendetta of Pottstown, PA; a sister Phyllis A. Rugh of Valier; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene, Herbert, and Wilbert Stamler; four sisters, Henrietta Pennington, Mary Painter, Glenna DePasquale, and infant Lois Betty Stamler.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
