Driver Caught at TA Truck Stop Following Hit-and-Run Incident at Flying J

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Police say a driver involved in a hit-and-run incident at a truck stop was caught a short time later at a second truck stop in Brookville.

Around 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, Brookville Borough Police were dispatched to a hit-and-run incident at the Flying J Travel Plaza located on Allegheny Boulevard.

Police say a known suspect struck a parked tractor-trailer and failed to give information, then left the scene.

According to police, the suspect was then located at the TA Truck Stop on Allegheny Boulevard.

Police say the suspect is being charged with hit and run of an attended vehicle, duty to give information, report of an accident to police, careless driving, and reckless driving.

Charges are pending through District Court 54-3-03.

The name of the suspect was not released.
