Driver Escapes Injury in One-Car Crash in Washington Township

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say around 9:25 p.m. on May 20, a one-car accident occurred on Interstate 80 West, at mile marker 94.6, in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, 23-year-old Batsal Pudasaini, of NY, was traveling westbound in the left lane, and a deer ran from the median from the south side into the path of his 2016 Nissan Versa. The Nissan struck the deer in the left lane.

Pudasaini was using a seat belt and was not injured.

No other information was provided.
