Driver Escapes Injury in One-Car Crash on I-80 in Brookville

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A 65-year-old man escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash along I-80 in Brookville, Jefferson County.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, the accident happened around 4:20 a.m. on December 22, when 65-year-old Jesus Huertas of Norwalk, CT, lost control of his 1998 BMW in the snow and crashed into the right side guide rail.

Huertas was using a seat belt and was not injured.

No damage was done to the guide rail.

Huertas was charged with a traffic violation.
