Driver Escapes Injury in One-Vehicle Crash on Route 219

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say a one-vehicle accident occurred this morning on State Route 219, north of County Line Road, in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, around 7:30 a.m. on November 15, Kara A. Wolfe, of St. Marys, was traveling north on Route 219, and a deer entered the roadway from the west side.

It impacted Wolfe’s 2013 Hyundai Elantra in the left front, causing damage to the left headlight and bumper, police say.

The vehicle came to a controlled final point of rest on the right shoulder of Route 219.

She was using a seat belt and was not injured.
