Emergency Crews Respond to Pine Creek Twp. Rollover

12484566_1090816230942129_2201711308962789126_oPINE CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Knox Dale Road in Pinecreek Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, at 8:35 p.m. on January 17, 23-year-old Anthony Roman, of Brookville, was travelling north on a snow-covered Knox Dale Road.

Police say Roman was driving too fast for the conditions and lost control of his 2001 Ford Ranger.

The vehicle struck an embankment on the west side of the roadway and continued to flip onto its driver side where it came to final rest on the roadway.

Police say Roman was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash.

Pine Creek Volunteer Fire Department and Knox Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
