Driver Faces Charges in Head-On Collision in Brookville Borough

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Charges have been filed against an Ohio man who was involved in a head-on crash that occurred in Brookville Borough on Friday afternoon.

Around 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, Brockville Borough Police were dispatched to a report of a head-on crash in the area of South White Street near the Post Office.

Police say through the course of an investigation and several eye-witness accounts, it was then determined that the driver of a Ford F-150 was seen driving from the Brookville Area High School “in an extremely reckless manner.”

The driver was reportedly seen committing numerous traffic violations from Brookville Area High School to South White Street where he then struck another vehicle head-on.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle, whose name was not released, was an Ohio man whose driver’s license was found to be suspended.

Police say multiple charges, including one second-degree misdemeanor count of accidents involving death or personal injury while not properly licensed, driving under suspension, and other charges, are pending against the unnamed driver.
