Driver Facing Charges in Snyder Township DUI Crash

Blue flashing sirens of police car during the roadblock in the cSNYDER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police are investigating a February 7 DUI crash in Snyder Twp., Jefferson County.

Police say a one-vehicle crash happened around 4:34 a.m. on Route 28.

While speaking with the driver, police detected a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.

The known male was subsequently arrested for DUI and other summary traffic charges, pending blood results.

The driver’s 2011 Jeep Wrangler sustained major damage in the crash.

Specific details on the accident were not released.

Police did not release the name of the suspect.
