HUSTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A driver was rushed to a local hospital after his vehicle crashed into a utility pole in Huston Township on Friday evening.

According to DuBois-based State Police, this crash occurred at 8:33 p.m. on Friday, January 27, on State Park Road, in Huston Township, Clearfield County.

Police say a 2022 Nissan Frontier driven by 61-year-old Thomas R. Yeager, of Penfield, was traveling south and failed to negotiate a left curve.

The vehicle subsequently traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

It then continued approximately 70 feet before striking a tree and coming to final rest.

Bennett’s Valley Ambulance transported Yeager to Penn Highlands DuBois to treat an injury of unknown severity.

He was not using a seat belt.
