Driver Injured in Crash on Bennetts Valley Highway

A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.HUSTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Bennetts Valley Highway in Huston Township, Clearfield County.

According to police, at 8:15 a.m. January 22 33-year-old Shena Lindmuth, of Clearfield, was attempting to enter Bennetts Valley Highway from the Penfield Minit Mart in a 2004 Isuzu Ascender.

Police say Lindemuth apparently pressed the accelerator rather than the brake pedal as she was approaching the road.

The vehicle travelled acrsoos the entire roadway before striking a large tree nearly head-on.

The vehicle came to rest upon impact of the tree.

Lindemuth sustained minor injuries in the crash.

She and her two minor passengers were transpoted to Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital by Bennetts Valley Ambulance Service.
