Driver Injured in One-Vehicle Crash on Route 28, Warsaw Township

A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.WARSAW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say around 12:20 p.m. on February 13, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 28, east of Kesterholt Road, in Warsaw Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, 38-year-old Murad K. Abu Shaqra, of Pittsburgh, was traveling north on Route 28 and lost control of his 2003 Pontiac Montana and crashed.

Jefferson County EMS transported him to Brookville Hospital for injuries of unknown severity, police say.

Abu Shaqra was charged with a traffic violation.

Warsaw Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
