According to police, 36-year-old Kiley W. Longo, of Penfield, was traveling south on SR 153. Her 1998 Toyota 4 Runner left the roadway for an unknown reason and traveled 24 feet along the west berm of the roadway before the front of it struck a large tree.
The vehicle then rolled over and rotated in a clockwise motion. It then traveled an additional 36 feet along the berm before the undercarriage struck a utility pole, police say.
The vehicle came to a rest against the pole on the passenger’s side, facing west.
Longo suffered moderate injuries. She was not using a seat belt.
Police say charges are pending against Longo.
